Susan Mikes Doherty Susan Mikes Doherty is a regulatory litigator and corporate attorney with 25+ years experience in more than 15 jurisdictions. She has spent approximately half of her career at major law firms, providing regulatory assistance to electric, gas, water and telecom companies. For the remainder of her career, Sue has worked as in-house counsel at several Fortune 500 utility-related corporations. Sue has managed all aspects of rate cases and other regulatory proceedings relating to issues from accounting matters to the establishment of renewable portfolio standards. Both as in-house and outside counsel, Sue has managed/co-managed some of the largest mergers and acquisitions in the utility industry. As Associate General Counsel for a Fortune 500 company, Sue has assisted in developing strategies and managing outside counsel in the full range of business activities, including contract drafting and negotiating a commercial litigation settlement in an environmental law suit against the US government, winning a commercial arbitration of more than $12 million, leading a nation-wide team to obtain regulatory approvals in 48 states. Sue participated as the legal representative on executive corporate teams, both for electric & gas businesses and for telecom businesses. In all her recent positions, Sue has interacted directly with senior executives on matters relating to regulatory issues. Sue has also worked with, and learned from, some of the best regulatory attorneys, financial analysts, depreciation experts, rating agency representatives in the industry. As a result of her extensive regulatory experience, Sue has developed outstanding written and oral communications skills, has drafted briefs that clients have described as the "best-written" documents ever filed, and has honed her superlative organization/prioritization abilities. Sue received her bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and her law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law (Law Review). Nancy Farish Nancy Farish is an expert in the area of Document Retention Policy and Procedures including creation of company schedules, assignment of retention periods and document approval processes. Nancy is a results-driven, detail-oriented administrative professional possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. She is well-organized with has the proven ability to coordinate projects and prioritize responsibilities to ensure timely completion of assignments. Nancy has skills in administrative management that streamlines operations and improves departmental efficiency. She has the able to work independently or cooperatively as a team to accomplish organizational objectives. Raymond J. Mason Raymond Mason is a business strategist and serial entrepreneur with a verifiable history as a professional in the areas of financial and economic analysis, business modeling, utility regulation & accounting, strategic & business planning, and project management. He has approximately 20 years of experience in the telecommunications & utility industries (electric / gas / water / wastewater), being responsible for the oversight of approved practices and development of new policy relative to the business areas of tax, capital asset financial and investment accounting. As a result, he has developed and led efforts concerning business change, investment analysis, financial modeling and related information management systems design along with their enterprise-wide execution. Ray has extensive knowledge in the area of international regulation & policy. Mr. Mason has served a variety of clients including foreign governments, investor-owned and cooperatively-owned utilities, private equity firms and investment banks, and regulatory agencies. Ray continues to work with contacts in business, government and technology segments of several Latin American, African, Asia, Middle East and European countries. He consults on acquisitions / mergers, policy and statutory / rule-making issues and technological change in the areas of telecommunications, energy, utilities computers systems and socio-economics. He is frequently engaged by Wall Street Investment firms.

Michael J. Ragusa, CPA Michael J. Ragusa has Over 25 years of progressive, comprehensive experience as an innovative accounting professional. He has an acknowledged ability to effectively plan, coordinate and meet deadlines for multiple projects. Michael is noted for having a positive rapport with co-workers and clients. He excels at identifying and defining business issues, then develop a business plan that addresses a cost-effective solution. Michaels experience includes project management, successfully directing a $55 million SAP financial implementation, business process re-engineering, corporate accounting and reporting, asset and construction accounting, corporate and individual Federal income tax preparation and several financial system implementations. Yelena Zhevnerova Yelena Zhevnerova is a Financial Analyst with strong experience in Strategic Business Plan Review, Utility Segment Research and Project Support. She has worked on various Energy and Water/Wastewater Studies and Renewables & Sustainable Economic Valuation Surveys. She is fluent in Eastern European languages and is able to provide valuable competence and capability to service related international opportunities. Yelena is recognised as an expert in financial valuations, acquisition and/or investment evaluations, operational assessments and / or strategic business plan reviews of several investor-owned and municipally held energy, water and wastewater entities. Prepares financial and engineering models, pro forma reviews, forecasting projections and various types of rate studies and surveys. She provides critical project support for numerous client initiatives and projects, assisting in the performance of crucial research and computations. |
